Tropical Atlantic Observing System (TAOS) Review was kicked off by a workshop organised by CLIVAR Atlantic Region Panel (ARP) in Portland, Oregon, USA, from February 8 to 9, 2018, back to back with the 2018 Ocean Science Meeting. 

The Atlantic Regional Panel (ARP) organized a workshop, co-sponsored by CLIVAR and US-CLIVAR, Ocean Mesoscale Eddy Interactions with the Atmosphere, held February 17th & 18th, 2018, in Portland, Oregon, USA, immediately following the 12th Ocean Sciences Meeting (OSM).

The latest issue of CLIVAR Exchanges, a joint issue with US CLIVAR Variations, titled "Sea Level Rise", is now available to read and download.

Meeting report of the International WCRP/IOC Conference on Regional Sea Level Rise and Its Impacts has been published in EOS on 05 January 2018.

At the just concluded 23rd session of the CLIVAR SSG meeting in Pune, India in November 2017, the proposal of the CLIVAR/CliC Northern Oceans Region Panel (NORP) membership was approved, which marks the official establishment of the CLIVAR/CliC Northern Oceans Region Panel. The NORP is co-chaired by Drs Amy Solomon and John Fyfe.
