In Memoriam: Roger G. Barry (1935-2018)

Barry, former Director of the International CLIVAR Project Office (ICPO), passed away on March 19, 2018, concluding a distinguished career in climate science. His work as a research scientist and professor, and his dedication to the formation of centers for the study of the cryosphere helped shape the evolution of climate science.

With reanalysis and in particular reagional reanalysis data sets getting more and more attention, the goal of the symposium is to discuss and promote all aspects of regional reanalyses.
