The Global Climate Observing System (GCOS) supported by EUMETSAT will be holding a conference in Darmstadt, Germany on 29 November-2 December 2022.

The Thirteenth Annual Meeting of the Indian Ocean Observing System Resource Forum (IRF-13) was organized on 9th December 2021. Dr. Juliet Hermes and Dr. Roxy Mathew Koll, co-chairs of IORP, and Dr. Jose Santos and Jing Li from the ICPO participated in the meeting as IRF members from the CLIVAR side.

The December telecon of the CLIVAR/CliC/SCAR Southern Ocean Region Panel was organized on December 2nd, focusing on the review of the progress in task teams and next steps, the membership discussion and the annual report.

Torge reported the progress of the Southern Ocean heat and freshwater task team, which is designing a protocol for the freshwater-release experiments with numerical models of the Southern and global.

The CLIVAR Climate Dynamic Panel held a telecon on November 17. All of the CDP members participanted in this online meeting, discussing the annual report, the membership renewal, and the panel plan for next year

A preparation teleconference for the 2022 Sea Level Conference was organized on 30th November 2021, with the participation of the WCRP Sea Level Grand Challenge (GC) co-chairs and members, local organizers and staff from WCRP Secretariat and ICPO. 

The CLIVAR Atlantic Region Panel (ARP) organized a telecon on Nov. 24, mainly focusing on a virtual go-around to update ARP-relevant activities, a look at the annual report and a discussion of membership rotation.

The CLIVAR Pacific Region Panel (PRP) held a telecon on 19 November 2021 mainly to discuss candidates for the PRP membership and the options for a possible PRP in-person meeting. Nine PRP members attended the telecon.
