A new article entitled ‘Exploring the Interplay Between Ocean Eddies and the Atmosphere’, written by Walter Robinson, Sabrina Speich and Eric Chassignet, has recently been published on Eos (https://doi.org/10.1029/2018EO100609), summarising the workshop on ‘Ocean Mesoscale Eddy Interactions with the Atmosphere’.
The Workshop on ENSO and Tropical Pacific Decadal Variability (EDV/TPDV) will be held on the 13 and 14 of October, 2018, right before the IV International ENSO Conference in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The objective of this workshop is to discuss and review our current understanding of the characteristics and causes of ENSO Decadal Variability (EDV) and Tropical Pacific Decadal Variability (TPDV).
The 3rd Open Science Symposium (OSS) on Western Pacific Ocean Circulation and Climate (WPOC) will be held on May 8-10, 2018 in Qingdao, China.
The 12th session of CLIVAR Pacific Region Panel (PRP) was held on 21 October 2017 at Busan, Rep of Korea. This session was held back to back with the ENSO complexity workshop organized by ICCP (IBS Climate Center for Climate Physics), Pusan National University.
The V Congress of Physical Oceanography, Meteorology and Climate of the South-East Pacific will consist of invited conferences, oral presentations and posters in the following thematic areas:

Since this meeting will be held at the same place with the one of CLIVAR ENSO RF only on a different date. The local logistical information are shared and can be found in the page of the ENSO RF meeting.
The First Report of the TPOS 2020 project was published on 30 December 2016. This report contains initial recommendations for the Backbone and a synopsis of initial results and plans for the various initiatives of TPOS 2020.
The 11th Session of CLIVAR Pacific Panel will be held alongside with the CLIVAR Open Science Conference at the weekend before.
