2017 CLIVAR International Symposium on Boundary Currents

2017 CLIVAR International Symposium on Boundary Currents is hosted by Key Laboratory of Physical Oceanography, MOE, Ocean University of China (OUC) with contributions from Qingdao National Laboratory for Marine Science and Technology (QNLM). It aims to provide a forum for scientists from around the globe to have in-depth discussion and exchange over the understanding of the Boundary Current dynamics and interactions. Scientific issues include but not limit to:

ICGPO visits to Chinese institutions of oceanography in Hangzhou and Xiamen

ICGPO made a series of visits to the Second Institute of Oceanography (SIO), SOA and its State Key Lab of Satellite Ocean Environment Dynamics (SOED) in Hangzhou, and to the Third Institute of Oceanography (TIO), SOA and Xiamen University in Xiamen within November 2016.

Ms Jing Li joins ICPO

ICPO is pleased to announce that Ms Jing Li has joined the ICPO team in Qingdao, China. Jing comes from UNDP, BEIJING, P.R. China, where she has been Programme Assistant for Global Environmental Facility (GEF) Small Grants Programme (SGP) & Team Management Support for over 6 years

CLIVAR Exchanges Special Issue Celebrating 50 Years of Indian Ocean Research

This special issue was initiated by the Indian Ocean Region Panel and coincides with the launch of the second International Indian Ocean Expedition (IIOE2) at the International Symposium on the Indian Ocean (IO50) that will be held on 30 November - 4 December 2015 at the National Institute of Oceanography (NIO), Goa, India.
