The 41st Session of the WCRP Joint Scientific Committee (JSC-41) will take place in Sydney, Australia. This is an annual meeting where the leaders of the WCRP research community discuss progress towards the Programme's objectives and make decisions that will determine the future direction of the Programme.
The 3rd Summer School on Theory, Mechanisms and Hierarchical Modeling of Climate Dynamics: Tropical Oceans, ENSO and their Teleconnections will be organised from 3 to 14 August 2020 at ICTP, Italy. Registration is now open until 01 May 2020.
A workshop on ‘Building an international Transparent Ocean Community’ was organised by the Pilot Qingdao National Laboratory for Marine Science and Technology, in Qingdao, China on 19th January 2020.
The POGO-21 was held in January 20-22, 2020 in Qingdao. ICPO staff were invited to attend the open meeting. Over 100 participants were present at the event, including 48 POGO members and representatives from other partner institutes.
The Wenhai Cup International Ocean Innovation Competition (WOIC) finals will be held on April 22, 2020 at QNLM, Qingdao, China. The competition is open to enrolled undergraduate and graduate students.

The 14th Session of CLIVAR/CliC/SCAR Southern Ocean Region Panel (SORP-14) will be held in conjection with the SCAR Ocean Science Conference (OSC) as a side meeting during the main event.
