1. Opening remark of the co-chairs (Amy and Ruth, 3 m)
The CLIVAR/CliC NORP panel organized its third monthly telecon of 2021 on 15th March, with the participants of the SORP members and An Nguyen, Ronan James McAdam, and Yevgeny Aksenov.
The CLIVAR/CliC NORP panel organized its first monthly telecon in 2021 on 11th January.
After finishing the Freshwater Review paper, the NORP panel organized its last telecon in 2020 on 23rd November. Most of the panel members, as well as four co-authors outside the panel attend this telecon.
The CLIVAR/CliC Northern Oceans Region Panel (NORP) held a teleconference in 27th July, 2020, chaired by Amy Solomon, with the participation of Celine Heuzé, Benjamin Rabe, Sheldon Bacon, Xiangdong Zhang, Jun Inoue, and Liping Yin from the ICPO
The call for abstracts for talks and posters has opend since 20th April 2020 and will close on 22nd May 2020.

Recently, the Sea Ice Prediction Network-SOUTH (SIPN-South) project has collected seasonal forecasts of Antarctic sea ice aligned with the Year Of Polar Prediction Special Observing Period (austral summer 2018-2019).
