Several parellel sessions, proposed for the AGU Fall meeting (San Francisco, 14-18 december 2015), are related to CLIVAR science. Abstract submission deadline is on 5th August 2015.

CLIVAR SSG meeting in Moscow

The year of 2014 has been very busy for CLIVAR. The ICPO relocated from Southampton (UK) to its distributed office in Qingdao (China) and Pune (India). In July the first ever pan-CLIVAR meeting took place in The Hague, Netherlands, and provided the opportunity for members of CLIVAR panels to discuss activities with the CLIVAR Research Foci teams.

Detlef Stammer elected as AGU Fellow

Detlef Stammer, CLIVAR SSG co-chair, and several other members of our CLIVAR community have been elected as 2014 AGU Fellows. The Fellows program recognizes AGU members who have attained acknowledged eminence in the Earth and space sciences as valued by their peers and vetted by a Union- wide committee of Fellows.
