Bolan’s research endeavors to understand the complex dynamics of climate variability and change from an oceanographic perspective. Her work encompasses multiscale air-sea interactions in the midlatitudes, tropical-extratropical two-way interactions, as well as externally-forced and internally-driven changes in the ocean-atmosphere coupled system.
