A perspective paper discussing how the research community can promote the enhancement of marine ecosystem forecasting using physical ocean conditions predicted by the GCMs has recently been published in Frontiers in Marine Science by scientists from CLIVAR and PICES communities. 

As a partner of the Digital Twin of The Ocean (DITTO), a programme endorsed by the UN Ocean Decade, ICPO was invited to attend the 1st DITTO Partner Meeting held virtually and in two sessions on Dec.1 and 2, 2022 respectively. 

The CLIVAR Exchanges special issue on Tropical Atlantic Ocean Observing System (TAOS) is now published online (doi: 10.36071/clivar.82.2022). 

The EGU General Assembly 2023 is going to be held in Vienna, Austria and online on 23-28 April. The call for abstracts is open until 10 January 2023, 13:00 CET. In preparation for the meeting, we have compiled a list of sessions that are relevant to the community and convened by CLIVAR Panels, Research Foci and community members. The list of sessions is not intended to be exhaustive but to help digest the collection of the hundreds of sessions and events.

The 2nd Indian Ocean Early Career Scientists WG Telecon was organized on 5 November 2022. 12 Representatives from IORP, YESS, WIOMSA-ECSN and IIOE-2 ECSN attended the telecon.
