OSM 2014 Abstract Submissions

Registration and abstract submission are underway for the 2014 Ocean Sciences Meeting to be held 23-28 February 2014 in Honolulu, Hawaii. (http://www.sgmeet.com/osm2014). The abstract submission deadline is 4 October 2013. We hope that you have visited the web site and are making your plans to participate.

Tutorial Sessions at OSM 2014. The meeting planning committee is seeking up to 20 tutorial (oral) presentations, to be selected by the committee from abstracts specifically submitted for this purpose. For more information about tutorial sessions visit http://www.sgmeet.com/osm2014/tutorials.asp.

Auxiliary Meetings, Town Hall and Workshop Requests. Even if you have contacted organizers previously by email, all requests for auxiliary meetings, town halls, and workshops should be submitted online. Please use this form to request space for these and other special events.  A form is available on the meeting web site at http://www.sgmeet.com/osm2014/meetingapplication.asp. Only requests submitted using the on-line form will be considered.  Requests received after the 4 October deadline may be able to be accommodated on an as-available basis.

Keynote Speaker. Elizabeth Kapu’uwailani Lindsey, National Geographic Explorer, will provide the conference keynote during the opening session on Sunday, 23 February. Her talk is entitled, Bringing the Wisdom of the “Elders” Together with Modern Science for the Future of the Environment.
