The focus of the workshop will be studies aimed at understanding and improving systematic errors in general circulation models.The workshop will be structured into the following areas:

• Tropical processes (Convective processes, MJO, ENSO, AEWs, tropical cyclones, etc.)
• Mid-latitude processes (Evolution of synoptic features, storm tracks, blocking, etc.)
• Sea ice and polar processes
• Clouds, aerosols and radiation
• Land surface processes
• Ocean processes and ocean-atmosphere interactions
• Stratospheric processes and stratosphere-troposphere interactions
• Holistic model evaluation and metrics
