Climate models are core tools for understanding the mechanisms underlying climate change and making long-term and short-term predictions.

The IndOOS Resource Forum (IRF) had its 11th meeting virtually on 19 August 2020. Roxy Mathew Koll, co-chair of IORP and Jing Li from ICPO participated the meeting on behalf of CLIVAR. 

The Climate Service Center Germany (GERICS) invites applications for a Scientific Coordinator to promote and help coordinate regional activities across the range of WCRP science (more about CORA).

The CLIVAR/CliC Northern Oceans Region Panel (NORP) held a teleconference in 27th July, 2020, chaired by Amy Solomon, with the participation of Celine Heuzé, Benjamin Rabe, Sheldon Bacon, Xiangdong Zhang, Jun Inoue, and Liping Yin from the ICPO

The CLIVAR Climate Dynamics Panel (CDP) held a teleconference on 19^7h July 2020. The CDP co-chairs, Shoshiro Minobe and Noel Keenlyside chaired this meeting.

The CLIVAR/CliC/SCAR Southern Ocean Region Panel (SORP) held the teleconference on 14st July, 2020, chaired by Inga Smith, and with the participation of Matthew Mazloff, David Bromwich, Neil Swart, Sandra Barreira, Robin Robertson, and Liping Yin from the ICPO.

The CLIVAR Global Synthesis and Observations Panel (GSOP) held a teleconference on 21^st July, 2020, chaired by Andrea Storto  and Steven R. Jayne.
