The special IO50 Symposium "Dynamics of the Indian Ocean: Perspective and Retrospective" is to be held from 30 November - 4 December, 2015 at Goa, India. Abstract submission is open till 31st May 2015.

Valery Detemmerman, Executive Director of the CLIVAR ICPO, and Nico Caltabiano, ICPO Senior Staff Scientist, visited the SCSIO in Guangzhou, IAP/CAS and the Climate Center of CMA in Beijing, on 6th and 10th February 2015 respectively.
