Lucia Campos from Brazil and Hyoung Chul Shin from Korea have joined the Expert Group

The 3rd SOOS meeting was held in St Petersburg in July 2008. Talks and additional information such as a timeline for publication are available now and a meeting report is now available

SOOS is now co-sponsored by the World Climate Research Programme. The official sponsors are now SCAR, SCOR, POGO, CAML, WCRP and GOOS. NOAA have also provided significant funds for SOOS meetings
