MacDonald SEaOS (Southern Elephant Seals as Oceanographic Samplers) SEaOS is an international and inter-disciplinary program aimed at providing accurate temperature and salinity data from the Southern Ocean using specially developed instruments deployed on southern elephant seals.

Gives almost circumpolar cover from 45-75S.
