Moored Instrument DAC
British Oceanography Data Centre (BODC)
Principal Contact: Kay Thorne
Email: klt@bodc.ac.uk
Website: http://www.bodc.ac.uk/projects/international/clivar/moored_instruments/
Data: http://www.bodc.ac.uk/projects/international/clivar/moored_instruments/data_inventory/
Responsibilities: BODC is responsible for moored current meters and ADCP's, but other types of moored instruments such as thermister chains and sediment traps may also be included. The aim is to expand the high quality moored instrument data set which was collected during WOCE and to assemble a uniformly-processed and quality controlled set of CLIVAR deep water moored instrument records.
