Workshop on coastal and ocean processes

The Challenger Society

The Challenger Society is hosting a workshop run through its Special Interest Group for Coastal Ocean Processes. The workshop will be held in Liverpool on the 25-26th March 2014.

The idea behind the SIG was to provide a focal point for the UK community to firstly meet but also discuss and plan future multidisciplinary research into coastal ocean and shelf sea processes.

This is the first meeting of the Challenger Society Special Interest Group for Coastal Ocean Processes. The aim of the workshop is to provide a forum for dissemination of UK coastal ocean research and to explore future demands on, and opportunities for, the marine science community. The Challenger Society invite the submission of abstracts for oral and poster presentations which cover the full breadth of coastal oceanography including physical, biological and chemical oceanography from both observational and modelling disciplines.
