The Permanent Service for Mean Sea Level (PSMSL) will host a workshop on major research topics in sea level science in order to commemorate its 80th anniversary. The workshop will be held at the University of Liverpool's Victoria Gallery & Museum on October 28 and 29. The workshop is open to all, but free registration is required by 16 September.

Jennifer Riley of the ICPO team attended the first user meeting of the NACLIM project, organised by GIM, Catherine Steven and Bart Thomas; VITO, Koen De Ridder; and the UHAM, Chiara Bearzotti and hosted at EcoHuis in Antwerp.

The meeting brought together experts in the field of modelling urban heatwaves, and producing mapped data products for user use.

Representatives from case study cities of Antwerp and Berlin were present to discuss their particular needs from a city perspective and determine what data would be needed for input in to the models and mapped outputs.
