The NACLIM project was invited to take part in the event 'The Atlantic - A Shared Resource.', held ion 23-24th May 2013 in Galway (Ireland). The NACLIM project was represented by Dr. Gerrard McCarthy (NERC/NOC, UK).

The event was organized by Irish Presidency together with the European Commission. The objective of this event was to provide a vision for enhanced cooperation on both sides of the Atlantic and a set of jointly agreed priority actions to provide the means to achieve these goals. The organizers invited the involvement of international partners in tackling the challenges confronting the citizens of the North Atlantic coastal states.

CLAST (Climate in Antarctica from Sediments and Techtonics) is an interactive educational app developed to explain topics of Geology and Earth Sciences to schools.

CLAST provides a representation of the results of ANDRILL, a scientific research program on paleoclimate that studied two over 1000 m long cores of rock from the seabed.
