The International Council for Science (ICSU) and the International Social Science Council (ISSC), announced the members of the first Science Committee for Future Earth, a new 10-year research programme on global sustainability.
The CLIVAR Scientific Steering Group meets on an annual basis, to discuss the accomplishments of the last year and future direction of the project. The meeting is the one opportunity in the CLIVAR calendar where the entire SSG meet in once location. The outcomes of the meeting present new and exciting opportunities for the future of CLIVAR.
The Africa Climate Conference 2013, organized under the auspices of the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) and the African Climate Policy Center (ACPC), hosted by the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, will bring together decision-makers and climate researchers, scientists and applications specialists from Africa and around the world.
